Our support team

Converge International has a dedicated support team made up of coordinators, administration, client service support and managers. They are committed to providing our service team and clients with highly skilled support through comprehensive and effective services, systems, resources, tools and advice.

Converge International has a highly qualified and experienced team that includes the following professions

We have a range of employment options for suitable professionals including full time, part time, casual, associate and volunteer. If you would like to register your interest with Converge International to join our service team you will need to have at least 2 years experience and hold at least one of the following memberships or registrations:

  • State Psychological Registration Board
  • Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Australian Counselling Association (ACA)
  • Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA)
  • Chaplaincy Endorsement from a nationally recognised pastoral institution
  • Other national mental health association or regulatory body

We value diversity in our service team, so if you're wondering whether you have the appropriate background or experience to work with Converge, here's a few things that we're always looking for:

  • Counselling experience( i.e. solution focussed, short term, person centred, CBT, narrative)
  • Experience or exposure to EAP counselling
  • Trauma, Critical Incident, Crisis qualifications or experience
  • Pastoral experience
  • Private practitioners in regional locations
  • Associates with ABN & Insurance
  • Clear criminal records check or working with children check
  • Drivers licence and own vehicle
