Course Outline
The number one factor in attraction and retention in Australia’s labor force today is work–life
balance and it’s an issue that
affects everyone. This education program will help participants
to assess stressors both at home and in the workplace,
prioritise activities, set appropriate
boundaries and equip participants with practical strategies for achieving work–life balance.

1. What is work–life balance?
- Warning signs of poor work–life balance
- Benefits of creating a balanced lifestyle
- Consequences of having an imbalance
between work and personal life
2. Identifying stressors:
- Assessing work stress
- Assessing personal stress
- Setting appropriate goals in work
and personal life
3. Self-management:
- Setting boundaries
- Learning to prioritise
- Stress management strategies
Expected Outcomes
At the end of this workshop participants will be able to:

and life entails
